As a theme for the festival’s second short film competition, we devote ourselves to all of our (un)holy desires:

The yearning for love, belief and liberation guides us through life. Sexuality and spirituality are intrinsic attributes of the human experience. But can they be combined? Modern denominations and institutions often reject this encounter, yet it is precisely for this reason that we embark on a search for contact points where the sanctification of the body and the spirit can converse and unite. By renouncing biases and embracing sex positivism, filmmakers can unravel culturally established taboos, engage in dialogues with the world and themselves, and create media that depict their fantasies. Welcome to HOLY DESIRES, where we celebrate the union of faith and sexuality in pornographic film.
