Streifzüge durch die frühe Geschichte des pornografischen Films

Wenngleich der pornografische Film nach wie vor als gar verfemtes Genre gilt, ist der Porno doch etwa so alt wie das Kino selbst. Mit einem lasziven Blick in die (Früh-)Geschichte des Films spürt Julian Körner die Anfänge des Hardcore-Films auf und zeichnet einzelne Entwicklungen des Genres nach, lange bevor sich der Porno in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren durch Sexploitation-Akteur:innen wie Russ Meyer und Doris Wishman sowie populäre Hardcore-Streifen wie ‘Deep Throat’ oder ‘Behind the Green Door’ den Weg in das kolletive Gedächtnis der Zuschauer:innen ebnete. Die Streifzüge werden durch Vorführungen einzelner Kurzfilme und Filmsequenzen flankiert.

Explorations through the early history of pornographic film

Although the pornographic film is still considered a highly stigmatized genre, it is about as old as cinema itself. With a lascivious look into the (early) history of film, Julian Körner traces the beginnings of hardcore film and follows various developments within the genre, long before pornography made its way into the collective memory of viewers in the 1960s and 1970s through sexploitation figures like Russ Meyer and Doris Wishman, as well as popular hardcore films such as 'Deep Throat' or 'Behind the Green Door.' These explorations are complemented by screenings of individual short films and film sequences.
